Yalta Clog in Havana

A leather clog on a linden-wood sole, made by hand rather than by machine — which is why no two pairs sit quite the same way.

The leather is vegetable-tanned using plant tannins instead of chromium, so it darkens and softens as you wear it rather than staying flat and new-looking. The wood comes from eco-managed French forests. Both are the reason these end up better a year in than they were in the box.
