Bronze. A color that behaves like a neutral and photographs like jewelry. This is the short coat with the frill detailing, in a wool blend that has enough body to hold its shape and enough give to actually live in.
It goes with the navy check, the dark green check, denim, black, cream, all of it. Over a turtleneck and trousers for the office. Over a slip dress with a boot for dinner. Or the whole thing: this coat, the embroidered check skirt, a big scarf. What's the occasion? There isn't one. That's the point.
Labeled in EU sizes, so a US 6 reads EU 38 on the tag. Between sizes, go by the measurements in the size guide.

In 2016 we turned the building behind our house in Church Hill into a shop. Back then the block was Sub Rosa, Union Market, The Roosevelt, and us. Ten years on there's ice cream, pizza, a juice bar, and a lot more reason to spend an afternoon over here.

Our sister shop sits in Irvington, a small river town where the pace drops the minute you arrive. We started coming here in 2020, tried a summer pop-up in 2022, and moved into our own space in 2024. Apparel, homewares, and the biggest slice of our vintage collection.

For fall, our barn in Irvington has gone full cowboy. New and vintage western, all in one place: fringe jackets and suede, a wall of broken-in boots, felt hats, silver belts, and the kind of old pieces that only get better with wear. Part shop, part treasure hunt, and the Cowboy Club sign means you're in the right place. Through November only, so come wander before it rides off.
