Mauve plaid, which should not work and absolutely does. The boat neck sits wide and clean across the collarbone, the back drops to a deep V, and the whole thing stops well above the knee.
Wear her with tall boots and bare legs while it's still warm enough to get away with it, then tights and a loafer when it isn't. A cropped jacket takes her to lunch, a heel and a gold hoop take her out. Basically, she's a lot of outfit for very little effort.
She's cut fitted through the body and the hem is a true mini, so she's one to try on rather than guess at. There's wool in the weave, which gives her some weight and means a hand wash rather than the machine.
