The Color Block Embroidered Western Shirt in Cream with Black

Somebody in 1940 wore this to a rodeo, and now you get to wear it to brunch. Cream body and sleeves, a black Western yoke with flowers embroidered across it, piping tracing every seam, and two proper chest pockets. The twill is drapey rather than stiff, so it hangs like a shirt you've had for years. Made with Stetson, so the details are the real ones.

Tucked into jeans with a belt it's the whole outfit. Open over a white tank with a leather skirt it's dinner. Knotted at the waist with a long skirt it's the version your friend will steal. The cream keeps it soft; the black yoke keeps it from being sweet.

Cut boxy and relaxed through the body, then pulled back into shape by the collar and cuffs. If you like a shirt to skim, stay with your usual size.
