The long black coat that solves the problem. Rain? It's waterproof. Cold? It's padded, but lightly, so it hangs like a coat instead of puffing like a sleeping bag. Wind? Button it all the way up to the high funnel neck and cinch the belt. Nice day? Leave it open over a sweater and let it swing.

The buttons are hidden, the pockets are welted into the sides, and the shoulder is dropped, so the whole thing reads clean and a little bit French. Over jeans and sneakers it's the school run. Over a black turtleneck and wide-leg trousers it's dinner in the city. Basically, one coat, every forecast.

Fits true to size, long through the body, and the belt lets you wear it fitted or loose. Rita Row's model is 5'9" and wears a small.

We ship within the US only. Flat $10 shipping, free over $125. Most orders ship within 2 business days via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking. Or pick up free at either shop, usually ready within 24 hours. If it's coming over from our other shop, allow 2 to 4 days. Once a package is marked delivered we can't take responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

RETURNS

We're a small shop with a few of each piece, so our returns are simple but not big-box: store credit within 14 days, return shipping on you, and sale, vintage and intimates are final. Unsure on size?
