Hand-painted original design
Biodegradable cellulose acetate
Extra-strong hinge, holds all day
Made in small batches in New York City
Double-sided
Plastic-free recyclable packaging

A horseshoe for luck, hand-painted and double-sided so it looks right from every angle — including the one you can't see.

Solar Eclipse make these in small batches in New York City from biodegradable cellulose acetate, which is the good stuff: made from recycled wood pulp, and substantial enough that the hinge actually holds a full head of hair all day rather than surrendering by lunchtime.

Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING

Flat $10 shipping, free over $125. Most orders ship within 2 business days via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking. Or pick up free at either shop, usually ready within 24 hours. If it's coming over from our other shop, allow 2 to 4 days. Once a package is marked delivered we can't take responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

RETURNS

We're a small shop with a few of each piece, so our returns are simple but not big-box: store credit within 14 days, return shipping on you, and sale, vintage and intimates are final. Unsure on size? Choose pickup and try it on first, or email us and we'll measure. Full details in our shipping and returns policies.
