Cozy Sweater in Cocoa

The sweater you reach for from October to March. Alpaca and merino, knit in Peru, in a deep cocoa brown that sits easily beside black, cream, denim and every other brown you already own.

The shape is why it works: slightly cropped and boxy, with a dropped shoulder and ribbed cuffs and hem. It sits at the top of a high-waisted trouser without bunching, layers over a collared shirt with the points out, and goes under a coat without adding bulk.

Cut generously through the body on purpose. Take your usual size for the intended slouch; size down if you want it closer.
